Funland Amusement Park, located on Presque Isle Road in Caribou, Maine, operated as a local entertainment hub for nearly four decades. Initially established as the Caribou Golf Driving Range, it expanded its offerings in 1961 to include go-karts, batting cages, kiddie rides, and a water slide, becoming the sole park in central Aroostook to provide such amusements during the summer season. The venue was damaged by a tornado in the early 1990s and ultimately ceased operations by the end of that decade. An auction for the park’s property and artifacts was held on April 24, 1999.
