Eastside Bowl, located at 1508A Gallatin Pike South in Madison, Tennessee, began operating in October 2021, transforming a former K-Mart building into a vibrant multi-attraction entertainment hub. This retro-inspired venue combines a 16-lane bowling alley, featuring both traditional play and “HyperBowling,” a technology-enhanced game unique to the region, with a dynamic live music space. The facility also houses an arcade offering vintage pinball and 1980s video games, alongside a retro bar and lounge area.
Conceived by Nashville music and hospitality veterans Chark Kinsolving, Jamie Rubin, and Tommy Pierce, Eastside Bowl serves as a community-minded destination designed by and for locals, providing a gathering place for families and friends. Its maximalist postmodern aesthetic, inspired by mid-century modern and 1970s design, along with elements reminiscent of “The Big Lebowski,” creates an inviting atmosphere. Beyond bowling and gaming, the venue’s live music spaces, including its main stage and the more intimate “The ’58,” contribute significantly to Nashville’s independent music scene, regularly hosting diverse touring and local acts.
