Kentucky Action Park

Kentucky Action Park, located in Cave City, Kentucky, was a prominent family entertainment venue that originally opened in 1970. The park served as a recreational hub for the local community and visitors to the Mammoth Cave area for five decades, offering a diverse range of attractions. These included the Alpine Slide, a chairlift, twin ziplines, go-karts, bumper cars, bumper boats, an 18-hole miniature golf course, a climbing wall, a trampoline, and arcade games. The venue also featured a unique Old Time Photo experience and guided tours of Outlaw Cave, in addition to horseback riding at the associated Jesse James Riding Stables.

The park became inactive in 2020, partly due to challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic which affected the operation of key attractions like the sky lift and alpine slide. In 2023, the property was acquired by former Tennessee Titans linebacker Robert Reynolds and subsequently reopened under the new name, Mammoth Valley Park. This revival was met with local enthusiasm, aiming to continue its legacy as a multi-attraction destination and enhance tourism in the region, which is known as Kentucky’s “Cave Capital.”
