Memphis Made Brewing Co.

Memphis Made Brewing Co. operated at 768 Cooper Street in Memphis, Tennessee, from November 2014 to July 2024. Founded in 2013 by Drew Barton and Andy Ashby, the brewery established its original taproom in the Cooper-Young neighborhood with a mission to elevate Memphis’s burgeoning craft beer scene. During its nearly ten-year tenure, the venue became a local gathering spot, offering patrons a selection of craft beers and community engagement through events like trivia nights and often featuring food trucks. The taproom also provided casual entertainment, including giant Jenga, fostering a relaxed atmosphere for its visitors.

As a dedicated neighborhood brewery, Memphis Made played an active role in the local community, supporting local schools through fundraisers and spearheading the annual Cooper-Young Beerfest. The brewery relocated its main operations to a larger facility in the Edge District in July 2024 to expand production and distribution, leading to the closure of the Cooper-Young taproom. Though the 768 Cooper Street location is no longer active, Memphis Made Brewing Co. significantly contributed to the cultural landscape and growth of craft beer in Memphis.
