Retro Rush Arcade

Retro Rush Arcade operates in Richmond, Indiana, offering a modern take on classic entertainment for the local community. The venue emerged in the mid-2020s, stemming from owner Josh Hoke’s passion for restoring arcade machines, which began in 2017, and its establishment at 100 N 9th Street following the property’s acquisition in 2024. This family-friendly destination provides an unlimited play model with a single daily pass, allowing access to over 120 arcade machines, 15 console gaming stations featuring systems like NES, SNES, and Nintendo 64, and a Guitar Hero setup. Among its diverse offerings are popular titles such as Soul Calibur 3, Outrun 2, and Sound Voltex, alongside a dedicated tabletop gaming area known as “The Dungeon” and a 3,000 square foot gymnasium for events.

Beyond its extensive collection of games, Retro Rush Arcade serves as a vital recreational and social hub within Richmond. It actively fosters community engagement by hosting monthly pinball tournaments and sponsoring local initiatives, including the Richmond Red Devil E-sports Program. The arcade also partners with educational institutions like Starr Elementary and Earlham College, and supports youth organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club and Girls Inc. of Wayne County, demonstrating a commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable space for residents.
