Electric Avenue

Electric Avenue, an arcade bar in Slidell, Louisiana, provides a vibrant, nostalgic entertainment experience in the heart of Olde Towne. Originally established by Chuck and Sarah Vorias, the venue temporarily closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. It reopened under the new ownership of Sean Greenlaw, with a soft launch on September 11, 2021, and an official opening on September 16, 2021, bringing a beloved local establishment back to the community.

The venue offers a retro arcade experience, featuring a variety of vintage arcade games and pinball machines. Patrons can enjoy classic titles such as Deadpool, Congo, Godzilla, Star Wars, and Stranger Things, alongside other driving, shooting, and redemption games. Beyond the extensive game collection, Electric Avenue functions as a lively bar, serving cocktails in an atmosphere that transports visitors back to the 1980s and 1990s. It serves as a popular social hub for both locals and tourists, complete with an outdoor patio for relaxation, and plans to incorporate new-school gaming and tabletop gaming in the future.
