Operating in Oviedo, Florida, since May 2015, The Pinball Lounge @Oviedo Bowling Center provides a dedicated recreational hub for pinball enthusiasts and the broader community. Established by friends Kurt van Zyl and Ed Klamp, who shared a lifelong passion for pinball, the venue began with fourteen machines inside the existing Oviedo Bowling Center. Today, it boasts one of Central Florida’s largest collections of working pinball machines, typically featuring between 42 to 50 games from a rotating inventory of over 200, spanning nearly five decades of pinball history from 1976 releases to the latest models.
The Pinball Lounge serves as “the destination for pinball in the Orlando area,” hosting league events and statewide tournaments that draw players from across the region and beyond. Situated within the Oviedo Bowling Center, which opened in 1992 and underwent renovations around 2020-2021, the lounge offers a unique blend of classic and modern pinball entertainment alongside bowling lanes, a full bar, and a food menu. This multi-attraction venue fosters a vibrant community for players of all ages and skill levels, contributing to Oviedo’s growing reputation as a pinball hotspot.
