Eventide Brewing, a cherished craft brewery in Atlanta, Georgia, operated in the Grant Park neighborhood from early 2014 until its closure on August 11, 2024. Founded by college friends Nathan, Haley, and Geoffrey, who began their venture as homebrewers, Eventide grew into a recognized local establishment with a Kickstarter-funded taproom opening in the summer of 2015. The brewery was known for its approachable beers, including its Kolsch, The A IPA, Citrus Grove Hefeweizen, and Especial Mexican Lager. Beyond its craft beverage offerings, Eventide fostered a communal atmosphere, featuring entertainment such as a bimini ring game, dartboards, and multiple pinball machines, and proudly displayed historical photos of the Grant Park community within its taproom.
Positioned strategically on the edge of Grant Park and near the developing Atlanta BeltLine, Eventide Brewing quickly became a significant neighborhood hub. It served as a family-friendly gathering spot, drawing a built-in clientele from the surrounding residential area who supported the brewery, particularly during challenging times. Patrons appreciated its unpretentious ambiance, describing it as an ideal neighborhood brewery where locals could relax, socialize, and even host personal events. After a decade of business, the brewery quietly ceased operations, informing supporters through an email from the owners.
