16-Bit Bar + Arcade, co-located with Pins Mechanical Co., opened its doors in Nashville, Tennessee, on October 26, 2019, at 1102 Grundy Street. This establishment, a concept by Rise Brands, revitalized a former Gibson Guitar warehouse in The Gulch neighborhood, creating a combined entertainment venue. It offers patrons a nostalgic experience with over 30 classic arcade games, including titles such as Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Street Fighter II, many of which are free to play with a beverage purchase.
Beyond the arcade, the venue also features an array of attractions from Pins Mechanical Co., including duckpin bowling lanes, numerous pinball machines, foosball, bocce ball, giant Jenga, and large-scale beer pong. The space includes multiple bars serving craft beers, themed cocktails, and mocktails, alongside an outdoor patio equipped with fire pits. Operating as a social destination, 16-Bit Bar + Arcade caters to a diverse audience, welcoming families during the day and transitioning to a 21-and-over establishment in the evenings, offering an alternative entertainment option to the city’s traditional music venues.
