Aladdin’s Castle was a popular video arcade located in the Lewiston Mall on East Avenue. As part of a large national chain, it provided a dedicated space for video games and amusement, becoming a common social hub for young people. The arcade was a fixture in American malls during the height of arcade gaming’s popularity in the latter half of the 20th century. Like others in the franchise, the Lewiston location eventually closed as the parent company, Namco, ceased operations for the chain, with the final location being rebranded in 2021.
