Anastasia Island’s Arcade Museum, established in 2019, serves as a dedicated recreational hub in St. Augustine, Florida, aiming to revive the classic arcade experience for the local community and visitors. Initially conceived to bring the magic of the 1980s arcade scene to St. Augustine Beach, the venue began with a modest collection of machines, including iconic video games like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Galaga, alongside classic pinball titles. Over time, the museum expanded its offerings and relocated to a larger space, reopening at 311 Anastasia Boulevard on May 17, 2025.
At its current, more expansive location, Anastasia Island’s Arcade Museum features over 75 games available on free play, showcasing the evolution of arcade entertainment over six decades. The collection includes mechanical games from the 1960s and 1970s, a wide array of pinball machines spanning the 1970s to the 1990s, and the latest releases from Stern Pinball, complete with a live online leaderboard. Beyond gaming, the museum fosters community engagement through events such as Tuesday Trivia Nights, Competitive Pinball League tournaments, and private parties, creating an environment where families and friends can bond over shared experiences and new generations can discover the enduring appeal of arcade culture.
