Baker Bros. BBQ

Baker Bros. BBQ, located at 215 W Main St in Jackson, Tennessee, operates as a vibrant culinary and recreational hub within the downtown area. The establishment continues a nearly 90-year family legacy on Main Street, with current owner Drew Baker being a fourth-generation proprietor on the block where his grandfather and great-uncles once ran Baker Brother’s Pharmacy in the 1930s. Drew Baker revived the family name with the opening of the barbecue restaurant, which was actively operating by early 2019. It is recognized as a culinary gem, celebrated for its authentic West Tennessee-style barbecue, offering a range of smoked meats and Southern hospitality that contributes to the ongoing revitalization of downtown Jackson.

Beyond its acclaimed barbecue, Baker Bros. BBQ offers a distinctive hybrid entertainment experience. In February 2023, the venue unveiled a dedicated pinball lounge situated behind its stage, featuring six pinball machines, a separate bar, and seating for patrons. The lounge also hosts musical acts and previously planned pinball tournaments, further enhancing its role as a gathering place. The establishment also provides open mic nights, fostering a lively and engaging atmosphere for the local community.
