Brown’s Amusements is a family-owned and operated carnival company founded in 1979 by Danny and Sherry Brown in Mesa, Arizona. The Browns are in the second generation of the amusement industry, having been independent concession owners before deciding to expand their offerings.
Starting as independent concession owners, Danny and Sherry quickly realized the need to grow their inventory. By 1996, they had built a successful operation with 12 rides, 10 games, and 1 food concession. They established a strong route through Colorado, Wyoming, and Idaho, and by the early 2000s, they were operating in multiple states.
Their token linked here was likely used as ride currency at some point (a la tickets) but today has been replaced by a card system which they call “Magic Money”.
