Game Terminal Super Arcade + Bar opened its doors in South Nashville on November 20, 2020, establishing itself as a significant entertainment hub for the local community. Housed within an 18,000-square-foot renovated 1960s-era truck terminal, the venue was a lifelong dream of owner Patrick McKennon, who previously founded Music City Pinball in 2017. It boasts one of the largest selections of arcade games and pinball machines in the United States, offering over 250 vintage and modern titles like Donkey Kong, Ms. Pac-Man, Jurassic Park, and Willy Wonka. Most arcade games are free to play, with pinball machines costing a dollar per game, making it an accessible destination for all ages until 8:00 PM, after which it transitions to an adult-only establishment.
Beyond the extensive indoor gaming area, Game Terminal features two bars with craft cocktails and local beers, a rotating selection of food from local food trucks, and an 8,000-square-foot outdoor space known as “The Backyard.” This outdoor area provides additional attractions such as shuffleboard, ping pong, cornhole, and a 4,000-square-foot basketball court. The establishment serves as a dynamic community space for gaming enthusiasts, families, and visitors seeking a blend of nostalgic entertainment and modern amenities.
