Pinky & Clyde’s Arcade Bar, located in the Park Circle neighborhood of North Charleston, South Carolina, began operations in September 2023. Established by four friends, Art Perry, Erin Tyler, Ryan Hendrick, and Sarah Henderson, the venue was envisioned as a space that celebrated the golden age of arcade video games, with many of the authentic 1980s arcade cabinets having belonged to the owners during their childhoods. The arcade bar quickly became a recognized establishment, earning “Best Arcade Bar in Charleston” for 2024–25.
This destination offers a fusion of classic arcade gaming and contemporary bar culture, featuring a diverse array of vintage arcade games, including titles like Pac-Man and Galaga, alongside pinball machines that have included Dungeons & Dragons, King Kong, and X-Men. Complementing the gaming experience, Pinky & Clyde’s serves a menu of nostalgic, uniquely themed cocktails and craft beers. Beyond its regular operating hours, the venue hosts community-focused events, such as pinball tournaments and a dedicated Saturday Kids’ Day, solidifying its role as a local recreational hub for both residents and visitors seeking a retro-inspired entertainment experience.
