Pinky’s Revenge Arcade and Game Lounge operated in the historic Taylors Mill at 250 Mill Street in Taylors, SC, from 2021 until its closure in April 2026. Owner Jeremy Barnes established the venue to evoke the nostalgia of 1980s arcade culture, creating a “barcade” concept within the revitalized 1920s textile mill complex. The establishment offered a diverse array of entertainment, featuring over 50-60 classic retro arcade games such as Pac-Man, Asteroids, and Donkey Kong, alongside modern and classic pinball machines, newer gaming consoles, and large-screen televisions for tournaments. Guests could also enjoy pay-to-play attractions like air hockey, pool, and Skee-Ball. Complementing the gaming experience, Pinky’s Revenge provided a full bar with themed cocktails and a snack bar offering retro-inspired fare like “school pizzas” and funnel cakes.
Pinky’s Revenge quickly became a recreational hub for the local community, contributing to the Taylors Mill’s evolution as an entertainment destination. It was known for its “pay-one-price” model, allowing unlimited play on many games, and hosted various events including live music, karaoke, and family-friendly “Looney Toon Saturdays” with a cereal bar. The venue also featured “The Lounge,” a speakeasy-style space for more intimate gatherings. The Taylors location ultimately closed its doors due to the increased costs associated with new South Carolina liquor liability laws, though its owner announced plans for a new, non-alcoholic arcade in Greer.
