Planet Sarbez, located at 115 Anastasia Blvd in St. Augustine, Florida, opened its doors in January 2014, quickly establishing itself as a distinctive entertainment and dining destination on Anastasia Island. Founded by Ryan Kunsch, the venue, originally known as Planet! Sarbez!, sought to provide a vibrant hub for art, music, and community that was previously lacking in the area. Beyond its extensive arcade offerings, Planet Sarbez is known for its live music performances by local indie bands and touring artists, open mic nights, art shows, trivia, and dance parties, fostering a lively cultural scene. The establishment also specializes in gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, craft beer, and wine, contributing to its reputation as the “Grilled Cheese Capital of St. Augustine”.
