Schoolhouse Brewing

Operating in Marietta, Georgia, Schoolhouse Brewing opened its full-scale brewery at 840 Franklin Court with a grand celebration on May 31, 2019. The establishment’s origins trace back to 2014 when former middle school science teachers Thomas Monti and Justin Waller first launched a homebrew supply and growler shop on Whitlock Avenue. The success of this initial venture led to the development of the larger brewery, which quickly became known for its innovative approach to craft beer, offering 20 rotating taps with no repeated recipes and providing free brewing recipes to the public.

Today, Schoolhouse Brewing serves as a vibrant community hub, fostering a “Where Education Meets Recess” motto. The venue features “The Teacher’s Lounge Arcade,” launched in April 2024, boasting 16 pinball machines, including popular titles such as Attack from Mars and Foo Fighters, and hosts biweekly pinball tournaments. Beyond arcade games, the brewery offers competitive axe throwing, various board games, and regularly hosts engaging events like trivia nights, comedy shows, drag bingo, and live music. With its dedication to diverse entertainment, a dog-friendly atmosphere, and an onsite homebrew supply store, Schoolhouse Brewing has cemented its place in the Marietta community, earning accolades as the #1 New Brewery in Georgia and being recognized for its family-friendly environment and exceptional gaming options.
