Located in Salisbury, North Carolina, The White Rabbit Cocktail Parlour and Wonderland Arcade Bar offers a dual entertainment experience within a single historic building at 5 Easy Street. The Wonderland Arcade Bar commenced operations in January 2023, featuring classic coin-operated video games from the 1980s and 1990s, including Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Asteroids, and Skee-Ball, alongside pinball machines such as The Getaway: High Speed II and Pirates of the Caribbean. Six months later, in July 2023, The White Rabbit Cocktail Parlour opened its doors, presenting a 1920s Art Deco-themed supper club offering craft cocktails and a rotating menu of small plates.
Conceived by owners Samantha Haspel and Rob Ring, the establishment occupies the former site of King Tut’s Hookah Lounge and McCanless Motors, undergoing significant renovation where many materials were salvaged and repurposed. The White Rabbit pays homage to Haspel’s late father, Peter, while the Wonderland Arcade draws inspiration from her childhood arcade experiences. The venue operates on a membership basis, offering annual and day passes, and seeks to provide Salisbury with a unique social hub for adults, while also allowing children into the arcade with supervision until early evening. This establishment contributes to the revitalization of downtown Salisbury by offering a distinctive blend of nostalgic gaming and an upscale cocktail experience.
