Thunder Island was a recreational park located at 19830 Hwy. 31 N. in Westfield, Indiana. Initially opening in 1975 as the 3-J Family Recreation Center, it was rebranded as Thunder Island in 1984 with the addition of water attractions. The park featured water slides, bumper boats, go-karts, miniature golf, batting cages, volleyball courts, and an arcade. Thunder Island ceased operations in 1994 following a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.
