Atomic City Family Fun Center

Atomic City Family Fun Center

Atomic City Family Fun Center, located at 3801 Hinkleville Road in Paducah, Kentucky, opened its doors around April 2021. The establishment embraced the local history of Paducah, often referred to as “Atomic City” due to its role in national security and nuclear energy with a uranium enrichment plant in the 1960s and 1970s. Owners consciously designed the center to encourage families to disengage from digital devices and create shared memories. This recreational hub filled a notable void in the area, as residents previously traveled to cities like Nashville or St. Louis for similar high-end laser tag and glow golf attractions.

The 44,000-square-foot indoor facility offers a diverse range of entertainment for all ages, including multi-speed go-karts, a Paducah-themed laser tag arena, and an 18-hole mini glow golf course that incorporates local landmarks. Additional attractions include virtual reality experiences, duckpin bowling, a multi-level soft play area for younger children, and two Full Swing Golf Simulators. The center also features an arcade with over 60 games and a “Social 360” area for adults, complete with a bar and a stage for live music and karaoke. Atomic City serves as a significant community asset by providing an indoor, weather-independent entertainment option and regularly contributes to local schools, libraries, parks, and non-profit youth organizations through donations.
