Operating in Memphis, Tennessee, from 1993 to 2001, Celebration Station provided a multi-faceted entertainment experience for the local community. Located at 6015 Macon Cove, the seven-acre complex featured an array of outdoor and indoor attractions. Visitors could enjoy two miniature golf courses adorned with elaborate obstacles, a spacious pool for bumper boats, and a figure-eight go-kart track with Honda-engined vehicles. Inside, the facility housed a food court, classic Skeeball lanes, numerous coin-operated arcade games and rides, and private rooms for hosting birthday parties and other events. The Memphis location notably featured animatronic shows, including the “Daniel and the Dixie Diggers with Jethro” set, installed in late 1993.
Celebration Station served as a vibrant recreational hub, drawing thousands of visitors who sought diverse amusement options. After closing for the season in 2001, the park did not reopen, eventually becoming a “depressing shell of its former self.” The property, once a lively entertainment center, was later acquired for redevelopment, with the former site eventually repurposed as a mini-storage unit building.
