Keg N Coin

Keg N Coin, located at 1271 King Street in Jacksonville’s historic Riverside neighborhood, opened in December 2017 with a soft launch just before Christmas, establishing itself as Jacksonville’s first arcade bar. An expansion of the local craft beer retailer Beer:30, the venue transformed a former laundromat into a dedicated space for nostalgic entertainment and craft beverages. It offers a diverse selection of classic arcade games from the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, including titles like Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, House of the Dead, Street Fighter, and Killer Queen, alongside a variety of pinball machines. The pinball collection notably features an array of modern Stern machines, with titles spanning from Ghostbusters and Deadpool to Godzilla and JAWS. Beyond arcade cabinets, Keg N Coin also provides foosball, darts, and the option to play old-school console games on a projector screen.

The establishment serves as a community hub, offering 15 rotating craft beer taps, a package store, wine, and craft sodas. It hosts various leagues, tournaments, and high-score competitions, fostering a vibrant social atmosphere. Keg N Coin welcomes all ages until 9 p.m., after which it becomes an exclusive space for patrons 21 and older, catering to both families during the day and adults in the evening. Its presence in the King Street District contributes to the local nightlife and provides a unique blend of retro gaming and craft brew culture to the Jacksonville community.
