Laser Quest – Nashville operated as a prominent family entertainment venue in Nashville’s Historic Core neighborhood, providing immersive laser tag experiences. Situated at 166 2nd Ave N, the multi-level arena featured special effects like specialty lighting, swirling fog, and energetic music, allowing players to engage in dynamic sci-fi battles. The Nashville location was notable for its 10,500 square foot arena, which included four towers, distinguishing it from many other Laser Quest facilities. It served as a popular destination for birthday parties, corporate team-building events, and youth group outings, becoming a recreational hub for the local community.
The venue ceased operations in September 2020, as its parent company, Versent Corp., closed all Laser Quest locations across North America due to the economic challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the establishment had already closed, its physical remnants were impacted by the devastating Christmas Day bombing on Second Avenue in December 2020, and singed Laser Quest passes were later collected for the Tennessee State Museum archives, underscoring its historical significance to the area. Laser Quest – Nashville is remembered by many long-time Nashvillians as a cherished part of their youth and a vital component of the downtown entertainment scene.
