Operating in Kingsport, Tennessee, from the early 1990s until March 2018, Tilt provided a dedicated entertainment space within the Fort Henry Mall. The arcade, which succeeded an earlier establishment known as Gold Mine that had been present since the mall’s 1976 opening, became a staple for the local community. It featured a diverse array of coin-operated video games, including classics like Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, Donkey Kong, and Street Fighter II, alongside redemption games, basketball hoops, and foosball. Throughout its operation, Tilt served as a recreational hub for Kingsport families and youth, offering a vibrant destination for arcade gaming within the region’s primary shopping center.
